A native of North Carolina, I have a passion for helping others with a focus on re-aligning and supporting healthy family systems. I have a Master's of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Emory University. I hold certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Substance Use Disorder and Moral Recognation Therapy. I have worked clinically as a Chaplain in the US Navy and have spent 14 years in the private sector in a variety of settings, including hospital programs, outpatient treatment facilities and now in private practice.
I work from a relationship-based approach that challenges families and clients to identify unhealthy and healthy norms that influence their presentation and attitudes in daily life. I enjoy incorporating creativity and humor into therapy sessions as a way to fully engage and retain growth.
